Identification
Each element is serialised and data is engraved onto individual stainless steel collar. Pressure rating is easily identified with stencilled or painted colour band(s) and rating markings.
Piping system configuration
Straight pipe (pup joint)
Standard lengths 0.5m, 1m, 2m, 3m, 4m & 5m.
Length in feet available on request.
Elbow
Generally Long Radius (1.5 D) 90° or 45°.
Short radius on special request.
Target Elbow
90° elbow made from a tee and a cap on opposite end to inlet. The cap is lead filled in order to protect the elbow against erosion.
Tee (Equal)
Six combinations of equal tee fittings are available. When ordering tees, specify your requested position of male and female ends from left to right and perpendicular branch (M for male, F for female) as shown on figure: 1 x 2 x 3.
SPECIAL FITTINGS FOR PIPING SYSTEMS
Special formats may be required in some piping systems such as wyes, laterals and crosses. FCE manufactures special fittings to client requirement comprising special shapes or specific materials.
Transport Piping Baskets
FCE offers a wide range of transport piping baskets, all designed as per customer needs.
Our new range of piping and fittings baskets – MTB Series – includes 2 stackable basket models for 2”, 3”, 4” & 6” piping. The modularity of both models allows various configurations and an easy access to all components. The MTB series is designed for frequent handling operations and rough transportation conditions.
They all have forklift pockets and lifting lugs and are supplied with lifting slings.
They can be certified DNV 2.7-1 as an option.
Their capacity depends on the piping set that has to be stored (diameter and quantity).
Tie-down-clamps

The FCE Flowline Restraint System is intended to reduce the effects of sudden movements in case of flowline rupture under pressure.
This system provides an additional level of protection for personnel and equipment.
The principle consists in securing each connection individually and then to attach all tie-down clamps to a master wire rope. Thus, the system allows a 2-step absorption of the pipe whip.
The system consists of:
– Tie-Down Clamps fitted with 2 bow-shackles (with screw-on pins).
– Wire Rope Slings (2ft, 3ft and 3.5ft long).
– Master Wire Rope Sling (10ft, 15ft, 30ft, 45ft and 60ft long with buckles & 1 master bow-shackle).
Available for pipe in 2”, 3”, 4” and 6” diameter.
ACME thread proctectors
Incorrectly tighten union because of damaged threads makes the use and operation unsafe. Essential care by protecting threads during handling will improve your safety level. Hard plastic ACME thread protectors for wing unions are available.
FCE also provides Data Headers as per the same norms & standards than the Pup Joints.
